I wanted to share books that I added to my classroom library this week.  I love both of these books by author Grace Byers and illustrator Keturah BoBo. The books inspire children to believe in themselves and to love who they are. Both books have beautiful words and illustrations. This week my heart was heavy as a family shared; their children would not be attending our school any longer as they would have to move out of the district to stay with family. This is always difficult for families having to move based limited financial resources.  We gave each of the children one of these books with a personalized handwritten note creatively designed by our art teacher.  We wanted then to know that the CES staff encourages them to be their best, and we all will miss them very much.
